Bethany UMC

We believe that life is a journey, and the focus is not necessarily on the destination as much as it is about how we learn to walk the road. In our spiritual lives that means we are constantly asking the question, “Where is God in all of this? Where is the grace?”

We believe that whoever you are, wherever you are, there is a place at Bethany for you. God’s love is all inclusive. This is a community of fellow travelers, each of us seeking to discover who and what we are, and where God is present in our lives.

Our vision is to be a “spiritual oasis in the midst of an asphalt jungle.” There was a time when Bethany was a little country church on a muddy dirt road. That is no longer the case. The road is now five lanes. The pastures and woods have become apartments, businesses, and shopping centers. In the midst of all the traffic, the hustle and bustle, the coming and going, our vision is to be a respite for the soul.
